Eranthis Hyemalis is a fantastic flower for your garden.   Flowering period is Feb-March.  These native European woodland plants are among the earliest to flower producing a bright display of yellow.   These are best planted in quantity either under trees or shrubs, a good ground cover plant., quickly spreading to become a carpet of golden yellow.
